Annual General Meeting

  • Our 2026 Annual General Meeting will be held on Monday 9 November 2026 at 7:00pm at the Moonee Ponds Club.

    We’d love to see our members there!

  • Our Annual General Meeting is held once a year and gives members an update on the Club, including our annual report and financial statements.

    It’s also an opportunity to discuss Club business and elect members of our Board of Directors.

  • The AGM gives our members the opportunity to stay informed and involved in the Club.

    It’s a chance to look back at the year, hear what’s happening around the Club, raise general business and help shape the Club moving forward.

  • Absolutely! Nominations are now open for three Director positions, with each position serving a two-year term.

    Nomination forms are available from the bar or can be requested via email.

    Completed nominations should be addressed to the Returning Officer, c/o the General Manager at 622 Mt Alexander Rd, Moonee Ponds 3039 VIC.

  • Along with your completed nomination form, you’ll need to provide a National Police Check that is less than three months old.

    Anyone wishing to sit on the Moonee Ponds Club Board must also become an Associate Individual with the VGCCC. More information about this is available on the VGCCC website.

  • Nominations close at 6:00pm on Monday 12 October 2026, which is 28 days before the AGM.

    Make sure your nomination and required documents are submitted before the deadline.

  • The meeting will cover:

    1. Opening and apologies

    2. Confirmation of the previous AGM minutes

    3. Financial statements and the Annual Report

    4. Any motions submitted in accordance with the Club’s rules

    5. Annual subscriptions and joining fees

    6. General business

    7. Election of Board members

    8. Close

Membership of The Moonee Ponds Club has always been a top priority of the Board & Management. In the 125 years of the Club's existence, the number of members has fluctuated wildly. In excess of 2300 Members and climbing, always with a view of increasing these numbers.

With the new alterations and development, the Club feels it is in a good position to entice new members. Innovations which include functions, trivia and night time music are just some of the ways the Club is trying to attract new clientele.

The Clubs successful membership draws held on Wednesday & Friday nights plus the ever popular Friday night raffle, sees new members and their guests well catered for.

At The Moonee Ponds Club, we love rewarding our members. Our MPC Rewards program is our way of saying thank you for your loyalty, by offering member pricing, points you can spend in the Club, and exclusive bonuses throughout the year.

Below you’ll find everything you need to know about how membership and MPC Rewards work.

  • MPC Rewards is our four-tier rewards program that allows members to earn points every time they use their membership card at the Club. As you earn more points, you move up reward tiers and unlock even more benefits.

    Your reward tier is based on the points you earn over a rolling 12-month period.

  • There are four MPC Rewards tiers:

    • Bronze – Entry level

    • Silver – 500 points

    • Gold – 4,000 points

    • Platinum – 10,000 points

    The more you use your membership, the higher your tier and the greater your rewards.

    Moving Up

    By the 15th of each month, your points earned up to the end of the previous month are reviewed. If you’ve earned enough points in the past 12 months, you’ll be upgraded automatically.

    Moving Down

    Tier reviews also occur on 15 January and 15 July each year. If required, your tier may be adjusted based on your points earned in the previous 12 months.

    During the month of your birthday, swipe your membership card at the front kiosk to receive:

    Birthday Bonus Points

    • Platinum: 2,000 points

    • Gold: 1,000 points

    • Silver: 500 points

    • Bronze: 250 points

    Birthday Bistro Voucher

    • Platinum: $40

    • Gold: $30

    • Silver: $20

    • Bronze: $10

    Birthday bonus points are awarded on the first swipe during your birthday month. Bonus points are a gift and do not count toward tier progression.

  • All MPC Rewards members enjoy:

    • Member pricing on food and beverages

    • The ability to use points to purchase food and beverages

    • Access to member-only promotions and offers

    Additional benefits increase as you move up reward tiers.

    Please note: Social Members do not receive member discounts or birthday bistro vouchers.

  • You earn points whenever you use your membership card at The Moonee Ponds Club:

    • Food purchases: $1 spent = 1 point

    • Beverage purchases: $1 spent = 1 point

    • Daily visit bonus: Points awarded when you swipe your card at the entrance kiosk (once per person, per day)

    What are they worth?

    • 100 points = $1

    • Points can be used to pay for food, beverages, showcase items, and other goods at the Club

    • Points are redeemed at 1 point = 1 cent

  • Each time you swipe your card at the entrance kiosk, you’ll earn bonus points based on your tier:

    • Platinum: 100 points per day

    • Gold: 50 points per day

    • Silver: 20 points per day

    • Bronze: 10 points per day

  • Depending on your tier, you’ll receive a monthly bonus on the points you’ve earned:

    • Platinum: 50% bonus

    • Gold: 20% bonus

    • Silver: 10% bonus

    • Bronze: No monthly bonus

    Monthly bonus points are automatically applied at 8am on the first day of the following month.Depending on your tier, you’ll receive a monthly bonus on the points you’ve earned:

    • Platinum: 50% bonus

    • Gold: 20% bonus

    • Silver: 10% bonus

    • Bronze: No monthly bonus

    Monthly bonus points are automatically applied at 8am on the first day of the following month.

    • Bronze, Silver and Gold members: Points must be redeemed by 31 December each year. Any unused points will be forfeited, but forfeited points still count toward future tiering.

    • Platinum members: Points do not expire unless there is a breach of Club Rules.

  • You can check your:

    • Reward tier at any point-of-sale terminal, the front kiosk, or by asking our friendly staff

    • Points balance at the entrance kiosk or by asking a staff member

    (Please note: your balance shows available points, not total points earned over 12 months.)

  • Membership renewals are due every year on the 31st of August.

    We will send out communication via email and SMS to keep you up to date.

  • Yes. Members may opt out of MPC Rewards at any time by notifying the General Manager in writing.

    • Memberships, points and rewards are not transferable

    • Suspended, excluded or expelled members will forfeit all accrued points

  • Currently valid at The Moonee Ponds Club only.
